Winners of the 2016 10k Apart contest include Dashingly Responsive and 10KB Pixel Art Character

The winners of the 2016 10k Apart contest – which challenged developers to build a compelling web experience with less than 10KB of code and works without JavaScript – have been announced. They include Dashingly Responsive for best overall, 10KB Pixel Art Character for best design and Firstname Basher as the people’s choice.

These sites range from the whimsical – picking a name for your child or building an 8-bit avatar – to the technically impressive overall winner that focused on Morse code.

Judges chose from more than 270 entries.
