Dynamic Data Masking

Dynamic Data Masking for Azure SQL Database version V12 is now generally available, giving you the ability to limit access to sensitive data by obfuscating it on-the-fly in query results.

Dynamic Data Masking can be used to hide sensitive data in your applications, while keeping the logic of which fields to mask centralized in the database. It can also help avoid exposing data to people who connect to the production database for maintenance and troubleshooting.
